Chair One

Chair One is our most versatile model. Its lightweight packability makes it easy to take with you anywhere. Chair One also comes in a variety of colors featuring mesh ventilation panels for warm, sunny days. Chair One is slightly higher and roomier than our Chair Zero, and Zero is the perfect companion when keeping your pack weight down is essential. But, if you can afford to carry a little extra weight, the Chair One the perfect all-rounder.

Chair One's bag includes a handle at each end. An optional Shoulder Strap accessory can be attached to the carry handles for easy over-the-shoulder transport.

Pro tip: To keep the bag from getting lost, slide the bag handle over the lower seat poles before attaching the seat cover. This also creates a handy under-seat storage compartment for your essentials.

Our Chair One measures 25.5 in high x 19.5 in wide assembled and comfortably supports up to 320lbs (145 kilograms). It's also one of the smallest and lightest Helinox chairs and sits lower to the ground than some of our other models.

For people looking for a taller and wider profile with more weight capacity, we also offer a range of High-Back and Extra-Roomy chairs. All our chairs are made with the same durability, high quality materials, and lightweight design, so even our more spacious models are exceptionally compact and packable.

The lowest part of Chair One's seat is approximately 10.5 inches or 27 cm off the ground. The lower profile helps make this chair one of our smallest and lightest models, which is especially important when keeping your pack weight down is essential.

For people looking for more height, we also offer a range of High-Back and Extra-Roomy chairs. All our chairs are made with the same durability, high quality materials, and lightweight design, so even our more spacious models are exceptionally compact and packable.

At Helinox, our 'low profile' chairs sit closer to the ground. A lower seat height is one of the ways we save pack weight on our Ultra Lightweight models like Chair One and Chair Zero.

All Helinox chairs are built with high-quality, ultra-durable materials for long-term comfort and dependability. To keep your chair in top form after heavy use, some easy care is recommended. While seat covers and carry bags are not machine washable, they can be hand washed in warm water using a mild detergent. Just make sure fabric is completely dry before packing away for storage.

Packability is an essential feature of Helinox chairs. Our innovative design ensures every chair is light and compact enough to fit neatly into its carry bag for easy travel and storage. Tuck your chair under your car seat or in the back of your closet. As long as the seat cover is dry and you're keeping it in a dry location, the only problem you'll have is remembering where you've stored it!

Assembling your Helinox chair is quick and easy. The shock-corded frame will virtually self-assemble – just be sure all the poles are fully inserted into the hubs. Always fit the seat to the upper rear poles first. Then, lay the chair on its back and use your body weight to flex the lower seat poles into the last two pockets. Brand new seats can be a little tight and the durable fabric helps prevent the seat from sagging over time. But don't worry, the more you use your chairs, the easier they'll be to assemble.

Helinox chairs are designed to help you feel At Home, Anywhere, and all our alloy poles are anodized to protect against corrosion. But to keep your chair in top form after use near water, some easy care is recommended. If the frame is exposed to salt water, rinse with some fresh water. And always make sure your chair is completely dry before packing away for storage.

Helinox frames are made from an advanced high-tech aluminum alloy that offers the ideal blend of strength and minimal weight. This special alloy is a higher specification than aircraft-grade aluminum, and goes through over 70 production processes from raw billet to finished pole section. The result is an ultra-durable frame that's sturdy, packable, and good-looking.

Hubs and joining components are custom-designed in-house and molded from high-strength, fibre-reinforced Nylon 66. The reinforced design provides a solid and secure connection for sturdy comfort and easy assembly.

You can return the product in ‘as new’ condition (undamaged and with original packaging) within 30 days for a full refund. To ensure the products remain in ‘as new’ condition, we recommend trying them indoors first. Any outdoor use in the dirt will scuff the feet and will render the product ‘used’.
