Chair One (re) vs. Chair One

What's the difference?

Meet the Chair One (re), a reimagining of our award-winning Chair One. Both are lightweight, packable, and built to last, but the Chair One (re) takes comfort, frame strength, and sustainability to the next level.

Here's how they compare:

Chair One (re), Chair One

Comfort

Building on the features of our original Chair One, the Chair One (re) seat is even more comfortable. We created (re)Tension Design, adding a second tension line within the perimeter of the chair to redistribute weight around the frame for improved support.

Which One Should You Choose?

Here’s where each chair has the edge, depending on what matters most to you.

  • Go with the Chair One (re) if: You prioritize comfort, stability, and sustainability, and don’t mind a small weight increase. The taller seat makes getting in and out easier, and the pocket ensures everything you need is within reach.

  • Go with the Chair One if: You want a lighter, most packable option and don’t need the added seat height or extra features.

Both are excellent choices, but Chair One (re) excels in all-day comfort and accessibility, while Chair One is the better pick for compactness and lighter portability.
